Ylang Ylang Complete Essential Oil is a very feminine oil and generally has more admirers among women than men. Ylang Ylang is a tall tropical tree with large fragrant yellow flowers. The flowers are traditionally spread on the beds of newly-weds in Indonesia. It also has a long history in hair care – The hair preparation, macassar oil, popular in Victorian times, contained Ylang ylang oil. The oil also has a very long distillation time and so is distilled in fractions, including “extra” (the first part and often considered the best for its aroma), 1st grade, 2nd grade and 3rd grade with decreasing quality as you move down the grades. These are often sold as separate products. Essence of Wellbeing Ylang Ylang Complete Essential Oil is a combination of all of the grades to give a balanced and true representation of the whole oil.
